An inch of overnight rain at Webb Golf Course made most final round scores go up at the 2020 Mardi Gras Tournament, but the soft and wet conditions didn’t bother leaders Brandt Garon & Jeremy Gautreaux who fired a 2nd straight 10 under par 62 to cruise to a 7-shot victory. Tre’ Simmons & David Millet finished 2nd, one stroke ahead of Robbie White & Landon Covington.

7-11 years: 9-HOLE STROKE PLAY
12-17 years: 18-HOLE STROKE PLAY
• Champion will come from 15-17 year division
• Players may choose to compete in an older division
• Juniors who have turned 18, but have not started college yet,
are eligible to play
• Younger children are allowed, must play the 8-11 division
• No riding carts or caddies allowed during play (shuttling allowed
on approved holes)
Congrats to our newly named 2019 Player of the Year LANDON COVINGTON. Landon finished this year’s competition with a total of 4,613.75 points – more than 500 points more than the next competitor.
The race for 2020 Player of the Year begins this weekend with the Plainsman Four-Ball tournament at Beaver Creek.
