Plainsman 4-Ball 2022 – Tournament Results

Congratulations to Greg Berthelot & Phil Frazier on their victory in the 2022 Plainsman Four-Ball tournament at Beaver Creek. Greg and Phil backed up their first round 63 with a final round 8-under par 64 for a 17-under par 127 total. First round leaders Eddie & Grant Welch finished in 2nd, three shots back at 130. Robbie White & Jeff Calloway took third at 132.Donny Schmidt & Ron Laborde won a tie-breaker at 8-under par 136 with Scott Haynie & Mark Bienvenu to win the First flight. Justin Hernandez & Ryan Kyle won the Second Flight at 2-under par 142. Christian Brown & Brayden David won the Third flight with a 153 total. Thanks to everyone who played, hopefully we’ll see you again at the 2023 Plainsman Tournament.

4-Ball Challenge 2022 – Tournament Results

Congratulations to Danny Nelson and Scott Wilfong on their victory in the Four-Ball Challenge today at Beaver Creek golf course in Zachary. Danny and Scott didn’t let the wind bother them on their way to the low front nine score with a 4-under 32 and then backed it up with a 2-under par 34 on the back nine for a 6 under par total of 66. They finished one shot ahead of Kyle Wells and Dante Calderra who shot 33-34-67. Drew Silman and Nyles Williams came in 3rd at 4 under par 68. The tie-breakers worked out just right for Brandt and Chad Garon who won the 1st Flight and for Drew Cavell and Taylor Calandro who won the 2nd flight. The next BREC tournament is the two-day, 36-hole, Plainsman Better-Ball at Beaver Creek on May 14th & 15th.

Webb Championship 2022 – Tournament Results

Congratulations to Eric Hoffmann on winning the 2022 Webb Memorial Course Championship today. The Saturday standings showed Eric in last place in the Championship Flight, but a Sunday 6-under par 66 took him from ‘worst to first’ and brought home the 2022 course championship. Landon Covington posted a front nine 32 on his way to a 2-under par 70 to finish in a tie for 2nd place with first round leader Sophia Macias. Ed Mitchell shot a 2-under par 70 on Sunday to win the First Flight. He was one of four players under par on Sunday. Michael Thomas took the 2nd flight with a final round 75. Three players improved their Saturday score by 10 or more strokes to move up a flight. Chad Garon took the 3rd Flight with a Sunday 81.

Mardi Gras Mania 2022 – Tournament Results

Congratulations to Jim Adams and Gayle Sanchez on winning the 36-hole 2022 Mardi Gras Tournament at Webb golf course. After shooting 61 in the Saturday scramble, Jim and Gayle shot 9-under par 63 in the 9-holes of better-ball and 9-holes of alternate shot format Sunday format. They finished at 124, 20 strokes under par for the 2-day event. Gayle Sanchez adds this win to the many south Louisiana tournaments he’s won. Tony Alphonso and Jay Sanders shot 64 on Sunday to win a tie-breaker for second place with Eric Hoffmann and Dante Caldera at 18-under par 126.Jeremy Gautreaux and Phil Frazier posted a Sunday 9-under par 61 and shot the low round of the day to take the First Flight by a comfortable 4 stroke margin. Jeremy and Phil had the 2nd lowest 36 hole total for the tournament. Jack Terry and Charlie Marquette followed their Saturday 68 with a Sunday 68 to win the 2nd flight. John Henchy and Cornell Christophe’ posted 74 on Sunday to win the 3rd flight.Thanks to everyone who played.

City Park Championship 2022 – Tournament Results

Congratulations to Robbie White on his win at the 2022 City Park Course Championship. His 65 today was good enough for a two-shot win over Jeremy Gautreaux and Phil Schmidt who tied for second at 131. Eric Hoffmann finished in 4th at 132. In the First Flight, Danny Simoneaux shot a Sunday 65 to win a scorecard playoff at 138 with Scott Haynie. Jerry Martin shot 69 to win the Second Flight with a 148 total. Congratulation to Robbie White and thanks to everyone who played.

Congratulations to Eric Hoffmann & Jeremy Gautreaux on their victory in the 2022 IceBreaker Tournament today at City Park. They shot 5 under par in the Scramble format on the first 9 holes and matched it with 5 under par in the 4-Ball format on the 2nd nine holes. Scott Haynie & Mark Bienvenk finished 2nd at 8 under par. The teams of Phil Schmitt & Blaine Patin, and Jack Terry & Charlie Marquette finished at 7 under par.

Jeff Russell & Bobby Richmond won the First Flight at 2 under par winning a playoff with the teams of Peter & David Mata, David Knight & Nate Robinson, and Cornell Christophe & Nyles Williams. Barb Watts & Ginger Covington shot 66 to win the Second Flight.

Holiday Scramble 2021 – Tournament Results

Congratulations to Robbie White, Landon Covington, and Dante Caldera on winning the BREC 3-Player Holiday Scramble at Webb Memorial Golf Course today. They took advantage of good weather and good conditions to shoot a 15-under par 57 and barely inch out the five teams that tied one shot behind them at 14-under par 58.David Hoffmann, Peter Davis, and Lewis Morris won the First Flight at 11-under par 61. Congratulation also to the all-ladies team of Ginger Covington, Barbara Watts, and Donna Ashmore who came in at 10-under par 62 to finish 5th in the First Flight. Thanks to everyone who played. Hopefully we will see you at the IceBreaker Tournament at City Park on January 29th.

Harry Neese Memorial 2021 – Tournament Results

Congratulations to Jeremy Gautreaux and Phil Frazier for winning the 2021 Harry Neese Tournament at City Park today.  Par is 96 for this unique 27-hole tournament at City Park.  Players play 9 holes of Scramble, 9 holes of Better-Ball, and 9 holes of Alternate Shot.  Jeremy and Phil took the win with a 11-under par total of 85. 

Scott Wilfong and Danny Nelson came in 2nd winning a tie-breaker with Crosby and Charles Lyman at 9-under par 87.  Brek Balentine and Matthew Jakuback came in 4th with an 88. 

Austin McCullough and Randall Little lost a tie-breaker to finish first in the First Flight at 1-under par 95.  Peter and David Mata got 2nd in the First Flight followed by Brian Barger and Daniel Chambliss in 3rd and Terry Ledet and Joey Indest in 4th
